Catching You Up

Hey Guys,

I know it’s been a while and I said I would update you on my weight loss journey. Well, it’s been pretty tough. I felt really discouraged for a while and felt like there wasn’t really a lot of progress being made for a while. I changed my diet, drank more water than I ever have in my life, and started to exercise. I did great for about the first couple of weeks and then fell off. I didn’t want to post again until I knew that I would be sticking to something. I did! Out of all the things I started doing I keep up with one! I have been drinking at least 5 bottles of water a day! For the last couple of months! I wanted to let you guys know that I haven’t given up and I will start doing better! I needed to make sure that I could give you guys some good news and hope if you are also wanting to get in shape or get healthier.

I have a couple of other updates for you as well! I started a new position! This means I will have more time to devote to you guys as I will have my own space that won’t be getting interrupted constantly. I will also have much better hours and more time off! This is what I have been needing for a while now! I hope that this new chapter in my life will inspire me to get back into the blogging scene!

I’m going to let you guys know what my updated weight is. Before I went on this weight loss journey I was roughly 189-190lbs. That is seriously overweight for my body size and type. It’s really hard for me to lose weight in general so I knew this would be a challenge. I am currently sitting at 184 right now. That is after a few months of drinking more water and going on a gluten-free diet. NOW, the reason I decided to go gluten-free was not! Let me repeat! NOT, because it’s super popular right now. I went on it based on some recent health concerns that came up. The best way to deal with those was to go on a gluten-free diet. I am not saying that it is the best diet for everyone to go on. Everyone’s body is different and needs different things. Don’t think that just because it worked for me means it will work for you.

Anyway, I hope you all are doing well and making the most out of this crazy time with COVID-19. Stay safe, cover your cough, and wash your hands and I’ll be seeing ya!
